The Magic Magic Castle is also a popular place to visit for its irresistible, magical setting and unique flavours. But the two often blend together, as you can not only eat your usual, familiar dishes in a fantasy setting, but also try dishes that no one can say no to. At The Magic Magic Cafe, we try to be creative not only with names but also with ingredients, helping all our Muggle and wizard guests find their own special treats.
Colourful food? Only natural!
Food colourings are found in most foods these days, so you'll find them in everything from confectionery to the most common foods. However, the origin of the food colouring is not always the same. We believe that ingredients of artificial origin should be avoided, because what's artificial can't be magic, and too many foreign ingredients can be harmful to the body. That's why we've chosen squid to colour our Black Magic Burger's black midnight black buns. What about a spell with other colours? In our experience, strawberries work best for red, beetroot for purple, mace tea for green, and purple cabbage and bicarbonate of soda for blue.
Is butterbeer a fiction? In our magic café it's very real!
Many people think that the butterbeer from the Harry Potter books is just a figment of the author's imagination, but Buttered Beer has been around since the 16th century. This drink, made from beer, eggs, sugar, cloves, nutmeg and of course butter, has of course gone through many changes, so here you can expect a thick, creamy, caramel, super sweet drink speciality.
And what is magic made of? Don't tell anyone!
One special feature of The Magic that you won't forget is the magic - the magic that can cover your entire table in smoke. Of course, we can't tell you all our secrets, but we can tell you that it's not actually smoke, but dry ice, which is completely harmless but all the more extravagant.
