Latte - the coffee for leisurely chats
Cappuccino - the balance of the Italian classic
Flat White - when coffee comes into focus
Flat White is the „youngest” of the three lattes, and it started its conquest of the world around Australia and New Zealand. It contains less milk than Latte and has almost no separate foam layer, just silky microfoam. This keeps the espresso taste more pronounced, while still allowing the milk to soften it. Flat White is for those who like milk, but don't want to give up the distinct taste of coffee. Because it contains less milk and doesn't have a thick foam layer, it's less saturated than a latte, so it works well in the afternoon when you're not in the morning mood but still need a little extra energy.
Three drinks that, although made from the same ingredients, offer a very different experience. The choice is usually not a matter of rules, but of mood. If you'd like to try any or all of them, go to to our magic café one day!
