All-over magic magic in our café
In the extraordinary worlds of fantasy films, there is so much adventure for the protagonists and the audience that it is relatively rare to see the protagonists eat. But even a wizard, a witch, an elf or an ogre can get hungry. Of course, everyone knows the Lord of the Rings' number one hunger-reliever, fairy bread (which is also ideal for first and second breakfasts), but what is on the table at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? The world of Harry Potter is a special one, where through the seven books and films we not only get to see the magical quests of the apprentice wizards, but also their habits. We also got our hands on their recipe books.
Magic restaurant recipes straight from Hogwarts
Butterbeer? Mandragora? Do We Know Who's Curse? - known and unknown specialities that help you escape the monotony of everyday life. But to whom do we owe them? Hogwarts' first true magical chef is Helga Hugrabug, one of the founders of the school of magic. Of course, she didn't juggle wooden spoons and pots and pans, and she didn't cast spells either, because Helga Hugrabug was a master of non-verbal spells in the kitchen. Helga sheltered the house-elves, who in return helped her in the kitchen, so that she could prepare recipes that had been used for centuries at school meals.
Of course, in Harry Potter, Helga Hugrabug is not the only one who knows how to cook. Molly Weasley has been cooking love potions since she was a schoolgirl, and was such a professional cook that Ron thought she could conjure up food from scratch. Of course, we all know that's physically impossible even in the realm of magic, but it does highlight the fact - being a good cook is magic in the eyes of mere mortals.
