Carnival is present in some form in almost every culture in the world, as it is a way of saying goodbye to winter and starting a new life. But how can we celebrate Carnival in a slightly different way?\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Where does carnival come from?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The length and exact timing of Carnival varies from year to year, as although it always starts on 6 January, it ends on the day of the start of Easter Lent. In this way, the carnival period can last from the beginning of January to the beginning of March, but in 2023 it will end on 22 February.<\/p>

The holiday's strange-sounding name has German roots and has been in use since the Middle Ages. Its meaning refers to the beginning of the fasting period, as the last day of carnival is the last day on which meat and alcohol can be consumed. It is understandable that moderation is not the order of the day and the atmosphere can be quite carnivalesque. But let's stop for a word. Isn't a carnival the same as a carnival? Of course it is! In fact, the Italian word for carnival itself has the same meaning: \u201ecarne vale\u201d, or meat brain.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarnival customs have their origins in ancient folk traditions, but whether it was a masked parade or a masked ball, carnival was present in all social classes. But carnivals do not have to be completely absent from modern life. Some traditions are worth keeping and even developing, and we feel that carnival is just such a tradition.
